I have significant hearing loss and have worn hearing aids for at least two decades. The Earlens aids are my fourth or fifth pair and are by far the best I have experienced. The process of being fitted for them and having them placed is more involved compared to the others, and I did have some unusual sensations but it was tolerable. My hearing with the Earlens aids has noticeably improved and not just based on my own opinion but also observed by my wife and close friends. The quality of my improved hearing has enabled me to enjoy listening to music in a way I hadn’t experienced in many moons. For example, recently I listened to Nelson Riddle’s recording of Route 66 and was actually able to hear the great trumpet solo that I thought was only a memory of my youth! As someone who has always enjoyed listening to music, that was a delight. I also want to mention that I have gone to Dr. Carr for all of my hearing devices over the years. He and his staff, especially Nicole, have been so professional and competent over the years and have displayed a sincere desire to help me which is very much appreciated.
